Poplin fabric

Poplin is a dense, lightweight but strong fabric, usually made from 100% cotton or cotton with polyester, elastane or viscose. It is characterised by a smooth surface and a subtle, very minimal sheen. It is soft, but at the same time strong. Due to its versatility, poplin is widely used both for garment sewing and for home textiles.
