Synthetic knitted fabric (jersey)

Knitted fabrics can be made from a variety of fibres: cotton, viscose, polyester. Cotton and viscose are known to most people as natural fibres, while polyester is a synthetic fibre. Knitted fabrics made of polyester have excellent properties: they fall beautifully, wrinkle little and dry quickly. Polyester fibre is nowadays produced in a very high quality, so you can safely choose this knitted fabric for your sewing .
