Velvet

Velvet is a glossy fabric that is classified as a luxury textile. The good side of this fabric is covered with a short pile. Depending on how the velvet hairs lie, the appearance and texture of the fabric can vary. The question often arises as to how velvet differs from velour - they are quite similar fabrics, but velour, unlike velvet, is not shiny.Although velvet is an exceptional fabric for luxury tailoring, it does not come at a high price.
